About McClain

I’ve been working as a North Carolina Trainee Real Estate Appraiser since August 2022 and earned my broker’s license in December 2024. I got into real estate because of my dad, who’s been a Certified General Appraiser and MAI for over 30 years. Growing up around his work sparked my passion for real estate and ultimately led me to where I am today!

Before that, I bartended at The Dubliner Irish Pub and Shuckin’ Shack in Carolina Beach. Those years taught me how to connect with people, stay calm under pressure, and adapt quickly - skills I now bring to helping clients feel confident and supported every step of the way.

My husband, Jordon, and I were married in March 2025 at Ironclad Brewery in downtown Wilmington. He’s called Wilmington home since 2012, and I’ve called it home since 2019. He’s from upstate New York and I’m from Salisbury, North Carolina, and we’re so grateful to have crossed paths in this unique coastal town!

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me tackling a DIY project with Jordon, listening to a true crime podcast, or spending time with our pets - two dogs, two cats, and nine chickens.
